Prof. Dr. Zehra Nihal Dolgun Altıntaş
I was born in 1978 in Suadiye, Istanbul. I graduated from Ö. Harun Reşit Primary School and then Kadıköy Anatolian High School, and in 1996 I began my medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. In the final year of my undergraduate studies, I completed my gynecology and obstetrics internship in Málaga, Spain, through an exchange program (Universidad de Málaga, Facultad de Medicina).
After graduating in 2002, I passed the Medical Specialty Examination (TUS) in 2003 and began my residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Zeynep Kamil Women and Children’s Diseases Training and Research Hospital, the hospital where I was born. In 2005, I went to the United States to conduct studies and research in the field of cancer and worked for four months at the Prof. DiSaia Clinic at the University of California.
